//GAME PAGE STILL IN THE WORKS, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE!
Hey lovelies, Zooka here! Our planet is suffering right now! Our source of aura and dreams, the Waterfall of Dreams, has gone missing! How is that even possible?! Well, we must investigate because I am obviously a great and caring person!
Unfortunately, I can't do it myself. My specialty is intelligence, so I'm not fit for field combat. Can't use my big brain to knock these guys out, after all. However, I offer personal life advice, and special facilities that help improve oneself and their skills! Aren't I so great?? Now go stop these menaces to society, while I hide...I mean, assist from the backlines!
...don't look at me like that! I'm helping tons with things like onboarding and education...
I suppose you wanna actually learn about these two? Fortunately for you, me being the diligent, studious girl that I am, I wrote notes about them!
HEMI (the pink one):
Blinded by magic figuratively and literally, Hemi is a friendly, but odd girl. Her resting face is an ultra-relaxed smile, as she is greatly confident in herself and her friends. She finds great joy in experiencing the great gift known as life (according to her...) with said friends, through the good moments and the less good moments. As a lover of life, she loves to go on new (usually dangerous) adventures, but will stop to smell the roses as well, as that’s a part of "enjoying life". No matter what happens, she’ll come out on top with the same comforting/creepy smile.
She uses a giant hammer as her weapon of choice, alongside her deity-gifted magic of controlling stars, pretty obvious by the stars that orbit her. She apparently got these powers after staring into the sun, which I tried myself for a split second before realizing what an idiot I was. She also forged that hammer herself, and don't tell her this, but her craftsmanship is second to none! I have so much research left to be done if I wanna become the weapon scientist of my dreams! Perhaps I should recruit her for future work, she kinda slays~!
ACRO (the other one):
Light on his feet, a swift striker, and considerably more reserved (and edgy), he seems to be good friends with Hemi, but that makes me wonder why these two people are even friends to begin with! I try to pry, but it seems they are quite resilient to my ethical source of extracting information. One day, I will reign victorious! Anyways, I also wonder why he wants to get stronger so badly, but nevertheless, I can respect that, as I further my scientific career with similar craving for power... I mean knowledge!
His weapon of choice is a kunai, a lot more sensible and practical compared to Hemi. He's able to swing it a lot faster and can chain multiple swipes at once, but the way he swings it slightly reminds me of a feral animal. He does have a deformed arm that radiates magic, but he doesn't seem to be too happy with it, which is a shame. Think about all that untapped power Acro! Anyways, he also has storm magic, which he uses to create a hook to pull himself towards whatever it latches onto, moving extremely quick and dealing a lot of damage in the process. It's honestly crazy how much power aura grants the caster with. How lucky those two are.

Adorable little game. Me and the wife enjoyed it very much. Keep up the amazing work and leaving a follow!
Acro's too based for the enemies.
Very smooth combat! Liked the polish, Acro's OP, good work!
Hey I'm glad you enjoyed the game! The floating there is natural, because of the way tilesets are handled, so when the tilesets are finished, it won't look like they're floating.
Also, I would love to hear your thoughts on what you thought was OP about Acro? I'd like the character choice to be meaningful, so having one be blatantly better than the other would diminish that fun. Thank you!
Acro seemed to have equal/interchangeable damage with Hemi while having faster attacks, Hemi had slower and less maintainable attacks (and movement?(placebo?)), I beat the boss by stunlocking them in the air to death.
One hit kills for Hemi's basic, larger AOE and damage, and less mana-costly values would make Hemi similarly satisfying.
Ah yes that makes a lot of sense actually! I recall buffing Acro bc he felt weak compared to Hemi, but I think I definitely overdid it. In particular, I didn't test Acro's Up Air move against the boss, and wow, it really did trivialize it. It should serve to extend combos against bosses, not start and extend. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. While I am not a huge fan of nerfing, I may have to here since I really like how Hemi feels damage and range wise. At least Acro's Up Air, that move is ridiculous lol.
Actually, while writing this, I got a new idea and I think I'll experiment a change to how the boss knockback system will work first before readjusting Acro and Hemi. Basically, instead of only being able to knock back bosses while attacking, they will always be knockbackable, but instead, they'll now have armor during their attacks, which will be broken the same way that it is now, dealing enough damage during their animation to break it. I think emphasizing the knockback system even more should be good fun, but this will merely be an experiment for now.
Thank you for playing, and writing your thoughts here! I really appreciate it! More updates will definitely come to a page near you!
My point wasn't that Acro should be nerfed, it's that Hemi should be buffed.
Frankly, Acro is very fun to use, and I'd want Hemi to feel like that too.
I am a fan of that armor idea though.
